Good Friday to you all, people! Here’s another interesting contribution from our friend Cici Suciati, a photography and travel enthusiast to Bidadari Island, Jakarta.
Only 15 minutes of speedboat ride from Marina Bay, North Jakarta, gets you to the Bidadari (translates to fairy) Island on which resorts have been built. It’s so close to the city, and the whole ride you can see the water is all green. In certain hours, you can see trash floating on the water around Bidadari Island, being “the litters from Jakarta people”, as locals put it, forgetting that their island is also included in the DKI Jakarta area.
