Tana Toraja, Sulawesi Selatan, is truly a land of the dead. Not only does it preserve the remains of its dead, the people also preserve the remains of its kill. You maybe quite aware that they preserve the horn, counting to the most prestigious with quantity but look around the corner of their traditional houses and you will find what I’m talking about smiling at you. For some reason, which I intend to find out, they clean the jaw bones with teeth intact and display them besides their houses. It’s definitely a sight and a teaser for me being still in braces :D.
