Known to be originated from China, lunpia or lumpia, or what you may have known as spring roll, is one of the most wanted food by tourists in Semarang. Below here is a picture contributed by our friend Lucia Nancy or Uci , of a fried lunpia cut into slices, revealing the filling that consists bamboo shoots, dried shrimp, chicken and spices. Served on a (unfortunately Styrofoam) plate, combined with chili, pickles and savory gravy, lunpia completes your culinary tour in Semarang.
