A tour in the Batik Museum of Pekalongan was quite revelational to me. I found out that there are actually many more of batik kinds from all over Indonesia, not only the original Javanese kinds. Being the World’s City of Batik, Pekalongan also has its own special and original motif, such as this one shown in the picture, and as we’ve mentioned in our previous post.

Remember this post? The sophisticated form of art called videomapping had its 2nd applied on a heritage building, this time was on the facade of Batik Museum, Pekalongan, Central Java. It was performed on April 2nd 2011 as the highlight of the city’s rebranding procession as the World’s City of Batik.
