Sometimes you wonder, how can people in isolated and less modern areas live the way they live? No high speed internet, no malls, no cars, no AC, no cafes, no supermarket, no body lotion, nothing but the basics. Because you’re curious, you pack your bags and travel far to that less modern area where you meet something that looks like this. For that split second you realize, ‘Live like this? Ooohh! No wonder people don’t move to the city. Now, why did I have to live in the city, again?’

People would easily mistaken this beach with Kuta beach in Bali. It does look similar, doesn’t it? This is Pangandaran beach, located on the south coast of West Java. Now, with the hype of Kuta beach being so dirty and crowded maybe it’s time people visit somewhere different where you can also surf, swim, and stuff your face with fresh and cheap seafood. Take us! In the land far far away north to the Central Java.. there lieth Karimun Jawa island with about 26 small islands around it.. Hence the archipelago is called the Karimun Jawa Islands.. And on the boat up here are.. well,.. tourists, looking to dock a little while at the Cemara Kecil Island, one of the archipelago’s best white sandy beaches.
