We just came back from our trip to the Krakatau volcano, located at the strait between Sumatera and Java. It was an almost failed trip because of the weather. Almost! We finally made it at the last minute, when the sun and wind decided to be nice to us. Maybe it was because we had lost hope, maybe because it was so secluded, or maybe it was a sight of relief after having a bumpy 2 hours ride on a speed boat, but once we saw the baby volcano, man was it beautiful and majestic. It was so worth the trip and all it’s emotional antics.

Space to do what we wish on our spare time. Space to be alone and think of what has been and what will. Space to draw our future. Space to breathe. And there’s no better space to do cartwheels than the beach. Oh I cannot wait for the end of year cos I’ll be off to a beach where I can have my space for a cartwheel or three!

The difference being with human cough, when this mountain clears its ‘throat’, it can shake the whole Rakata Island. At a glance I admit it does look threatening, but it was actually also a precious moment because not every tourist can get an experience of witnessing this kind of view. And I was one of the lucky ones, in my visit a couple of months ago.
