I am so honored to have one of my sketches displayed at the National Gallery of Indonesia, Jakarta, though it’s only a 17x9cm sketchbook among 230ish sketches in bigger size by other sketchers. It was an open submission through Instagram with certain hashtags, for live sketches made within Indonesia between 16-19 August 2018 in conjunction with Indonesian Independence Day.

The opening night was on 4 September 2018, attended by many of the sketchers, some came all the way from Surabaya and Semarang. The exhibition is open until 16 September 2018.

The exhibition occupies two halls. The Hall B displays sketches from Indonesian renowned artists such as Henk Ngantung and S. Sudjojono, while my sketch is displayed in Hall C with the rest of sketches by urban sketchers.
